For the first time, three Prospanica chapters have come together to honor and celebrate our communities during the Hispanic Heritage Month. Through this collaboration, we have created an event that serves as a closing celebration of this important achievement and contribution of Hispanic Americans who inspire others to achieve success. Each chapter will bring their community members together to commemorate our vibrant history, culture, and accomplishments.

The Comunidad Awards highlights the achievements and contributions of Hispanic-Americans who, through their dedication and passion, inspire others to make a difference in their communities. The awards will recognize and honor individuals and organizations in two categories:
- Individual Community Award

This award recognizes an individual whose contribution has greatly impacted the lives of members in their community.
- Organization Community Award
- This award recognizes an organization whose contribution has greatly impacted the lives of individuals in their community
From the East Coast to the West Coast of the United States, the Boards of Directors of Prospanica DC • Columbus • Los Angeles will recognize Hispanic professionals who demonstrate exemplary leadership, service, and commitment to advance the Hispanic/Latino community.
We will present the Comunidad Awards during a virtual awards ceremony on Oct. 15, 2020 that will close our celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.
